Updated Info and Notice of Public Hearing for Impact & Capacity Fees

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held before the Edgefield Co. Water & Sewer Authority Board of Directors, the governing body of the Authority at 5:30 pm on January 26, 2026. The hearing will be held in the office of the Authority, which is located at 100 Waterworks Road, Edgefield, SC. The purpose of the public hearing will be to allow members of the public the opportunity to express their views regading the proposed implementation of impact fees on new water services and capacity fees for sewer.

Proposed Impact fees = $1,750 per 3/4" water tap, fees increase based on tap size.

Proposed Sewer Capacity Fee = $10.89 per gallon.
