REPEAL OF BOIL WATER ADVISORY - W.MARTINTOWN RD NEAR BRIGGS RD & WOODLAWN RD

Effective: May 21, 2026
The Edgefield County Water and Sewer Authority advises their customers located in the
following areas that they no longer need to boil their water for one (1) full minute before
drinking or cooking.
W. Martintown Road near Briggs Road & Woodlawn Road including:
• Memory Lane
• Cannon Mill Drive
• Cannon Mill Court
• Amazing Grace Court
• Summerlake Drive
• Woodlawn Road
• Briggs Road
• Van Road
• Roper Ranch Trail
• Briggs Haven Circle
Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were
collected and analyzed by the Authority. The results of this sampling indicated that the
system is safe to use for drinking and cooking.
