MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION FOR PLANT UPGRADES
April 29, 2025
ECWSA is currently in the first Phase of a multi-year, multiphase upgrade project at our Water Treatment Plant. To perform these upgrades, a shutdown of the Water Plant will occur on Wednesday night, April 30, with restart of production resuming on the morning of Thursday May 1. This shutdown will occur around midnight when water usage is at minimum. We do not expect to lose water service during this time, and this notice is strictly precautionary. We would ask that your residence/facility reduce water usage (no laundry, excessive water usage etc) on Wednesday and Thursday as we will be supplying water solely from our elevated storage tanks. It is mandatory that you do not irrigate, fill pools, or wash cars on Wednesday or Thursday. Failure to comply may result in penalties from ECWSA. Your help in conserving water on these two days will ensure we get back to normal very quickly. ECWSA is committed to keeping you informed, and if the situation changes, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your assistance!
